Funding Credit

The CIRCSIM-Tutor project was a language-based intelligent tutoring system for first-year medical students to learn about the reflex control of blood pressure. Students solve small problems and are tutored by Socratic dialog with the computer.

Our research can be divided roughly into two parts:

Version 2 of the program was deployed in classes at Rush, version 3 was in development when the project ended.
