Grading
QUIZZES/EXAMS
There will be two closed book and
closed notes quizzes and three closed book and closed notes exams given during
lecture.
No unexcused make-up quizzes or exams are allowed. If there is a legitimate reason for missing an exam or quiz (e.g., family emergency or doctor verified illness), arrangements must be made before the exam or quiz. If the emergency or illness arises too late for prior notification, then written documentation from a parent or doctor must accompany making arrangements for making up the exam or quiz.

C 70-79.9999
D 60-69.9999

The instructor
reserves the right to assign a failing semester grade to any student who fails
the Final Exam or fails to show up for the Final Exam.
Note: Grades greater
than 90% will generally receive an A; not “rounded” percentages!!
Note: Grades will be posted on blackboard, but total points as reported by blackboard are not used to calculate final grades. Final grades will be calculated using the above weights.
