Laboratories

The lab sessions are designed to assist the student in developing a more concrete understanding of the concepts introduced in lecture. It is highly recommended that a student attend each lab session. All labs must be completed before the lab session ends.  Make-up labs are NOT given. The labs for this class are designed to give you practical experience with the material discussed in lecture. They are NOT intended to produce a high-pressure environment. All lab work must have the student's name, course, and section number in comments.

Labs will account for a full 20% of the student’s semester grade. Ontime, fully attempted problems will receive full credit for the lab. Partial problem attempts will receive half credit. Late exercise sets receive no credit.

This is a student’s opportunity to practice concepts learned and get feedback on the work without the pressure of handing in work for correction. This better reflects how people perform their work after college.
