Doubly Linked List Layout

All nodes in a Double Linked List have two links, one to the node before itself, and one to the next node.

Every Doubly Linked List has a head link that points to the first node in the list.

Since the both the first and last items in the list does not link to another item, its link is set to null, as seen here.
