Lecture Calendar

The following schedule is tentative, and will be updated as the semester progresses.

While (most) lecture slides are available as PDF downloads, recognize that they are meant to supplement lectures and will do you no good if you miss class! I generally edit and update my slides up to the minute before lecture, and I will post updates on the announcements page as newer versions are uploaded.

I use the abbreviations OSC for Operating Systems Concepts, 8th ed., by Silberschatz, Galvin, and Gagne, Lions for the Lions' Commentary on UNIX, by John Lions, and LBoS for The Little Book of Semaphores, by Allen Downey.

Note that for every lecture scheduled to discuss "v6", you should bring your Lions' commentary textbook to class!
