Jun He is currently a Ph.D. student at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received his BS in Information Security and studied as a graduate student in Computer Science at Hunan University, China. His current research interest is data access optimization.

Hui Jin is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received his BS degree in mathematics from Wuhan University in July 2003, and MS degree in computer science from Illinois Institute of Technology in December 2008. His current research focuses on the performance evaluation and optimization under failures of parallel computing.

Siyuan Ma is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received his BS degree in Information and Computational Science from Northwest University(China) and MS degree in Computer Architecture from Xi'an Jiaotong University. His current research interest is storage system.

Luciano Piccoli is a Ph.D. student, his interests are in workflow systems, parallel and distributed systems and system architecture design. He holds a B.Sc. degree in CS from UFSC (Brazil) and a M.Sc. in CS from UFRGS (Brazil).

Wei Tang is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at IIT. He received his BS degree from Hefei University of Technology and MS degree from Huazhong University of Science & Technology, both in Computer Science. Before joining IIT, he worked as a software engineer in Lucent Technologies Inc.(current Alcatel-Lucent) Nanjing R&D. His research interests are fault-tolerance in high performance computing, resource management in large scale systems, etc.

Jingjin Wu is a Ph.D. student at Department of Computer Science at IIT. She received her BS degree and MS degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Her current research interest is in failure diagnosis and failure recovery.

Yanlong Yin is currently a Ph.D. student at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received his BS degree in Computer Science and MS degree in Computer Architecture from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His current research interests are parallel file systems and data access pattern.

Li Yu is currently a Ph.D. Student at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received his BS degree from Sichuan University in China. He was studying as a graduate in Rochester Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009. His research interests focus on fault detection and fault prediction in large scale computer systems.

Yongen Yu is currently a Ph.D student in the Department of Computer Science at IIT. He received his BS and MS degree both from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Before joining IIT, he worked in China System and Technology Lab of IBM as a software engineer.

Ziming Zheng is a PhD Candidate at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received his BS and MS degress from the College of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His current research interests is Discovering and forecasting incipient faults, and fast failure recovery in large-scale systems.

Hongbo Zou is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at IIT. He received his Bachelor degree from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST) and MS degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), both in Computer Science. Before Joining IIT, he worked at the Electrinic Test & Measurement National Lab as a Research Staff. His current research interest is multiprocessor scheduling in virtual machine environment.

Tao Ke is currently a Master student at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received BS degree in Sun Yat-sen University in Software Engineering, China. His research interest is parallel and distributed applications and fault tolerance for large-scale systems.

Eduardo Olmedo is currently a visiting research scholar at Computer Science Department of IIT. He received his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from the Polythecnical University of Madrid (Spain) in 2008. His current research interest is focus on the reduction of the contention in multicore systems through the reordering of the accesses to the memory.
