The IPRO305 team, with student leader Mr. Santhosh Meleppuram, again wins the overall 1st place for Web Design in Fall 2005

"The Pervasive Computing IPRO Team in the News" Oct. 2005

The IPRO305 team, an undergraduate research team led by Prof. Xian-He Sun each semester since 2003, wins the Spring 2005 IPRO competition overall 1st place for Web Design and 2nd place for IT track, with total cash prize of $700. Thestudents leaders are Mr. Santhosh Meleppuram and Tyler Butler, Spring 2005

Dr. Vijay K. Gurbani received the BEST RESEARCH PAPER award, and Mrs. Nehal Mehta received the BEST TEACHING ASSISTANT award of CS department, the only two awards for students. Dec. 2004.

"Teaching Graduate Students in China", Dr. Xian-He Sun gave lectures on "Middleware and Distributed Systems", supported by dragonstar plan. Aug. 2004

Dr. Kirk W. Cameron received the DOE Career Award. Cheers to a new "millionaire". Aug. 2004

The IPRO305, Pervasive Computing Application, team, where Tyler Butler is the team leader, wins the IT track award and overall second in web design on April 30's IPRO day, with a cash prize of $600. April 30, 2004

IIT CS Department Award. Mrs. Cong Du's paper "HPCM: A Pre-compiler Aided Middleware for the Mobility of Legacy Code" was selected as an honorable paper with an award of $125. Jan. 2004

Dr. Kirk W. Cameron received the NSF Career Award with a total of $400,000. Jan. 2004
