Our research covers various aspects of high-end computing and is currently along the following directions:

• Designing and developing compile- and run-time tools to promote efficient and collaborative network based computing environments

• Performance evaluation and modeling of high performance computing

• Performance optimization, including task scheduling and fast data access for high-end computing

• Enhancing reliability and security for parallel and distributed system

Correspondingly, software systems are developed and under development by the SCS group, in cooperation with other researchers nationally and internationally.
